Quick report:
  • CalFire was "swamped" all afternoon, not able to make the appointment. I rescheduled for Sat. 3/13/21, 1:00 PM.
  • Gaithers have cleared access from main road near dirt pile into the scorched area that is their property uphill from our lake. See picture below.
  • Jake has installed address signs for his, Allan’s and our properties at key forks in road (pic below). This will have its first test by the people it is most important to be clear for when firefighters make their way up the road for the inspection.
  • Andrew Pepper, carpenter, was up on Sunday to work on pumphouse foundation. Said he'd be back again Monday.
  • Propane level 84%

I saw the new address signs the last time I was up and they look good and professional - very helpful. FYI, Allan states that Jake paid for and installed all the posts and signs - a gift for the neighbors. Very nice.
