- Randy, Jason, Tessa, Cole, Dan and I had a great visit a couple of weekends ago. First, we went down to the lake to test out the new road. The cleared lake area is beautiful and so open to the view.
We had dinner with Allan and had a wonderful time reminiscing about Shang gatherings over the years. Pancakes by Dan on Morfar's griddle for breakfast, followed by a hike to Allan's. We noticed that the water level was low, so we pumped. It seems that there's a water leak. The persimmons were almost ready to pick. We took a few home, and happily discovered that they will continue to ripen at home. -Katie
